Carers Support to help families with an autistic child

At the Carers Conference we learnt of some great new developments at Carers Support locally. These include the appointment of Lucy, a new worker supporting carers of people with learning disabilities across the whole County. One important new initiative is based on the realization of how little support there is for the families of people on the autism spectrum. So, working with the Wessex Autistic Society, there will be workshops at Carers Support in Salisbury to help parents/carers complete the under 16s form for the Disability Living Allowance.

The next workshops will be on
Friday 27th January and Friday 23rd March at Carers Support,
15 New Street, Salisbury, from 10 am to 1 pm.
