Our Carers lunches

listening intently to the views of a carer at the South Wilts Mencap Carers lunch in June. These lunches are a great chance to meet up with the SWM Committee and other carers to exchange views and concerns. Another opportunity to think about the issues affecting Carers will be at 3 one day Conferences called Thinking Ahead, planned for 3 Thursdays in late autumn this year.
These have been planned with Carers Support and will take place at their very pleasant offices in New Street in Salisbury. The days will run from mid morning to mid afternoon, with lunch provided and are free of charge for carers.

The themes of the 3 days are Planning Wills and Trusts, Space for Living and a session to explore our feelings. Each day will be introduced by a parent carer talking about his or her own experiences: we plan the days to be really friendly, informal and welcoming. Details can be found by clicking here.
