Your views are important!

We are currently collecting views on a number of issues that are arising from our health campaign and from the recent Government Emergency Budget announcements. It would be really great if you could find a few minutes to fill in the two short surveys below. This will help us to understand better what we need to do next.

1) DLA
As you may have picked up the Government plans to introduce a medical assessment for the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) of working age adults. We are concerned that this may stop people who need the support will not be awarded the benefit.

To help us with our campaigning work we need to find out more about how people spend the care component of DLA. We are asking people to fill out our online survey, which can be found here: www.mencap.org.uk/dla

2) Valuing People Now Health Poll
Thank you to everyone who took part in our first poll on Learning Disability Partnership Boards. You should be able to get further details of the results from this poll from your Community Development Officer.
