CHRISTMAS CAROLS
with our South Wilts Mencap Music Group

On Thursday 15 December our regular Music Group, now up to 28 members, joined Methodist Vicar Patricia Powell and many of the usual congregation in Amesbury Methodist Church for a mid-morning Faith and Light Service of Christmas carols including those two cherished favourites; Away in a Manager and Silent Night.

A highlight was the Bible reading on the birth of Jesus, by four regular music group members, Michael, Diane, Jamie and Sian. Before singing We wish you a Happy Christmas, Gordon and Heather presented the Music Group Facilitator Frances Howard with flowers and something ‘chocolatey‘! We re-start this popular Music (social and activity) Group on Thursday 5th January.
