SLD/PMLD Inclusion Project:

Inclusion of People with Severe Learning Disabilities & Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities:
This is a new project which is being funded by the Learning Disability Development Fund, to look at ways to include people with Severe Learning Disabilities and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities in the decision making process at Partnership Board level. The work is proceeding well and discussions are being held across Wiltshire. We also have the backing of Royal Mencap who have similar projects in selected places across the United Kingdom. Together we hope to get a viable project up and working but there is lots more research to be done.
