Our shop is the all important engine that keeps the rest of the society’s activities running. All the staff are volunteers and this means that all funds raised are used directly to support local people with learning disabilities and their families to enjoy a full and varied life. The shop is also a welcoming and friendly place where you can make your first contact with the society.

You can help us by donating bric a brac, china, jewellery and good quality clothing for resale. We also welcome new recruits to our very able team of volunteers, which includes people with learning disabilities.

Mencap Cards and Gifts:
The South Wilts Mencap Shop also sells cards and gifts from the Royal Mencap Society and your help is needed to promote these sales as they also benefit our local society financially. Three local villages host coffee mornings each autumn and our organiser Jill Mortimer welcomes enquiries from anyone willing to act as an agent, distribute catalogues or host a coffee morning.
