Alabaré Emmaus House:

Emmaus House is a community home run by Alabaré Christian Care Centres, and based on Christian principles. Our aim is to provide residential care for 10 people with learning disabilities, some of whom may have physical difficulties. We offer our residents support and guidance to help them to attain greater independence physically, mentally and socially by working in a person centred way This enables them to move towards fulfilment of their potential. We wish to encourage and assist residents in the exploration and development of their individual spiritual needs. Staff respect the rights of residents at all times, and expect that residents will treat others with the same respect as they have received. All residents make use of local community facilities and are encouraged to participate as fully as possible in local community life.
