Alabaré London Road:

The Alabaré Centre in London Road Salisbury houses 6 adults with learning difficulties each with their own tenancy agreement and wanting to live a independent lifestyle. We support each individual to work towards their goals and aspirations and as their knowledge and experience widens they are able to set new goals and aspirations for themselves. To support people we offer information in a choice of format: word, picture or widget.

We work to provide a service that is structured to promote independence and to increase and enable personal choice and decision making so that each service user can realise their own potential. We aim to
• provide a flexible and responsive care and support service appropriate to the individuals needs and promoting their independence.
• work in partnership with other professionals to provide comprehensive support and further enhance the service users social network within the community.
• continuously improve our service by working to the Supported People Quality Assessment Framework

Alabaré Wyndham Road:

The new Alabaré Centre at Wyndham road opened in June 2008 as a home for four adults with learning disabilities. It is operated on the same principles as London Road, though with lower staffing levels.
