Learning Disability Partnership Board:

The Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB) meets 5 times a year with another meeting arranged as a conference. In 2008 the membership of the LDPB was streamlined to include two members from each of the 4 area groups (North Wilts, West Wilts, Kennet and South Wilts) plus members from other other organisations such as the Primary Care Trust.

The LDBP is endeavoring to implement "Valuing People Now" and four task groups have been formed to prepare reports on:
●Health
●Employment
●Housing
●Better Days
which will be considered by the main group later in 2009.

There is a good representation on the Board of people with learning disabilities and we looking at ways of including people with severe learning disabilities and profound and multiple learning disabilities.
