Remap is a group of engineers who are skilled in designing and making specialist pieces of equipment for elderly or disabled people, where these are not available commercially. An engineer will visit you in your home to assess the problem and work out what is needed. For example we can reposition controls on cookers, adjust the height of furniture or design special book rests, but we can also take on much bigger jobs. Costs are for materials only – usually minimal. Referral may be the person themselves, a carer or a professional.
