Salisbury District Community Transport:

Service
Salisbury District Community Transport provides door to door community transport and assistance for people who have limited mobility and who live and/or work in the District. Carers are welcome to accompany passengers on journeys.
• A vehicle is available for use by affiliated organisations, serving disabled or elderly people, who can book our fully disabled access vehicle and driver for a trip or a day out.
• We provide regular door to door community bus services from rural areas to and from Salisbury, allowing around two hours in Salisbury for shopping and other business. This operates from all surrounding villages.
• A community car scheme using voluntary drivers is available to take people directly from home to community facilities such as school, college, health services, or social outings. 7 working days advance booking is needed for this service.
• Users of the rural bus service and the community car scheme need to register in advance and make a donation towards costs.
