South Wilts Mencap Shop:

Our Shop is the all-important engine that keeps the rest of the Society’s activities running. All staff are volunteers and this means that all the funds raised are used directly to support local people with learning disabilities and their families to enjoy a full and varied life. The Shop is also a welcoming and friendly place where you can make first contact with the Society.

You can help by donating bric – a - brac, china, jewellery and good quality clothing for resale. We also welcome new recruits to our very able team of volunteers, which includes people with learning disabilities.

Mencap Cards and Gifts:

Your help is needed to promote cards and gifts from the Royal Mencap Society – our parent body – that are sold in the Salisbury Mencap Shop. 28% of the value of each item benefits the work of our local Society. Our organiser Jill Mortimer welcomes enquiries from anyone willing to act as an agent, distribute catalogues or host a coffee morning. Come on – join in - have fun - boost our funds.
