Supported Learning Courses Starting in May

Wiltshire College – Salisbury has two courses starting this May providing supported learning.

Pathway to Employment starts Monday 3 May 2017 9am to 3pm for 8 weeks.
During this course we aim to set and meet individual SMART targets, with the purpose of improving your skills for work. We will practise your literacy and numeracy skills. We will also brush up on your computer skills and design a CV and a portfolio. There will be opportunities to try some voluntary work with our charity partners. Improving our communication and social skills will also be a main focus of this course, with each learner practising their interview skills.

Pathway to Independence starts Thursday 4 May 2017 9am to 3pm for 32 weeks.
During this course we aim to set and meet individual SMART targets, with the purpose of improving your independence skills. We will practise your literacy and numeracy skills. We will also brush up on your computer skills and learn about keeping fit and healthy. There will be opportunities to practice your skills for independence in the new training flat. Practising our communication and social skills will also be a main focus of this course.
