Wiltshire Scrapstore now Open in Wilton

Wiltshire Scrapstore is an award winning environmental and community charity. The longstanding Scrapstore warehouse is situated in Lacock at Griffin Farm, Bowden Hill, Lacock SN15 2PP and is open six days a week. Here members of the public, families, community groups can access a wide range of resources for creative activities and access a craft shop, creative workshops and much more. Membership is FREE and just a donation is requested.

They have now opened an additional scrapstore at Unit 2, Kingsway Business Park, Wilton SP2 0AP. The opening times in Wilton will initially be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10.30am – 4.00pm but they hope to be able to extend these times if they can employ more volunteers.

Art Programme with Becky Churchill

South Wilts Mencap are very excited to announce our art programme of four workshops with artist, Becky Churchill, is taking place on Mondays from 6:30pm to 8pm.

The programme is open to all young people aged 14 to 30 with learning disabilities.

It costs just £8 per person for the whole programme and you can book by calling Pauline Cain on 07766 272284 or email.

The venue is St. Michael’s Church and Community Centre, Bemerton Heath, SP2 9LE.

These sessions are thanks to the generous donation from the Reis Family, thanks to Tom Reis running a half marathon to raise funds for South Wilts Mencap.
