We hope you got to visit our gorgeous chalet at this year’s Salisbury Christmas Market. South Wilts Mencap opened for business in the Charity Chalet on Friday 25 November and had a wonderful day selling homemade jams, chutneys and mincemeat, tree decorations, dog treats and exquisite wreaths. The tombola sold out of prizes due to its enormous success. Huge thank you to everyone who paid us a visit and also spent some pennies at our chalet. All proceeds will go towards the work we do at South Wilts Mencap to support people with learning disabilities.

To help Salisbury District Hospital to communicate with their patients effectively they would like to record their patient’s choice for receiving information.
Once they have recorded your needs on their system, it will help them, for example, to send you appointment letters in an appropriate format to meet your needs.
It will also help them to give you support with other types of communication. This may include e-mailing your appointments and letters, Easy Read leaflets or an interpreter for clinic appointments.
You can complete this form and send it to Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.
